You've just spent good time preparing that dinner. Why serve it with paper towels?
I’m passionate about what I feed my family. Now more than ever we need to pay attention to what we are putting in our bodies, so meal time is important. But even when I’m rushed, I find the simplest meals still take 30 minutes or more to pull together. Why devalue the effort and serve it with a paper towel? Paper and plastic make the moment and the meal time together feel disposable. I serve all of my meals (even the bowl of cereal at breakfast) with a cloth napkin because it makes me slow down and enjoy!
