My grandmother made the best cookies - not just at Christmas but year around! Growing up, every time she would visit she would bring Crisco or Pringles containers filled with sugar, oatmeal and chocolate chip cookies (yes, she was a true recycler before that was chic). These cookies were perfectly round and crispy and distinctly HER recipe.
Just because you are in a parking lot doesn’t mean your tailgate needs to be uncivilized! Why not elevate your tailgate? It does not take much to turn a rickety folding table into an eye-catching, inviting spread!
Inspired by our trip, I'm going all out for our championship brunch celebration #breakfastatwimbledon. Champagne, scones, strawberries and cream, and a Wimbledon themed tablescape in Hen House Linens, of course!
With the official kickoff to summer just around the corner, what is on your summer agenda? Travel, family time, relaxing, cooking, reading a good book? I hope all of these make it on your list!
It was if new life was breathed into her tablecloth! As new friends gather around the table, thisfresh table scape allows me to continue my Mimi's gracious living traditions in a modern way!
Just because I choose to eat in the car doesn't mean it can't be civilized! Recently, my go-to breakfast has been a yogurt parfait with blueberries and homemade granola or baked oatmeal (my favorite recipe is by Elisabeth & Butter). Easy to grab and go ... pair it with a Hen House napkin and I've got the best of both worlds. A few extra minutes of sleep and a civilized, healthy start to my day!
