We love tennis in our house! During any major (and lots of minor) tournaments, you will find our tellies tuned in to watch the action. And there is nothing better than Wimbledon. The history, the traditions, the beautiful grass courts, the all white outfits, and I was lucky enough to go this year! It was a quick trip across the pond, and we were on a mission to get tickets to watch as much tennis as possible. The Wimbledon Queue is an experience by itself - dedicated fans camp out the night before to ensure Centre Court tickets. I'm NOT a fan of camping so we queued up at 7am. We met great folks and ended up with Court One tickets! Our seats were amazing - Row G - just seven rows back from the emerald green court.
The matches were intense and the atmosphere thrilling. TV definitely does not convey the fans energy and enthusiasm! Of course, we ate strawberries and cream and sipped on tea and Pimms with colorful striped straws.
