Whether you are going home for the holidays or someone special is coming home, celebrating family and traditions are my favorite part of the season! I'm lucky enough to have someone home for the holiday, AND I am going home - the best of both worlds.
My college son arrived home this weekend, and we are thrilled to have him (and his laundry) back in the house! We are pulling out all the favorite recipes and cramming our days full of family and friends.
It is also a great excuse to get creative with my tabletop! Linens that easily transition from Thanksgiving to Christmas are my go-to right now ... I think it creates harmony with my Christmas tree in one room and the turkey decor in the other.
