How to set up a stylish Halloween bar for fall

Whether you are styling a bar cart or bar space, you want your space to be functional, stylish and festive!

Let's start with provisions. As with most things, we believe more is more! A well-rounded bar should include at least one bottle of each of the six essential liquors. Stocking a good selection of these will allow you to make almost any cocktail. Gin, vodka, tequila, rum, whisky and brandy are typically considered the essentials. Next, add your wine and mixers. A nice selection of red and white wine. plus club soda and tonic, are key to round out your beverage selections. We love to the look of Fever Tree mixers on any bar display!

Now that you have the booze taken care of, you need to style it! We love using this silver tray from Ellie Proctor Antiques. It's functional and pretty! Small silver dishes for tools and fruit are another great addition. Additionally, you need a set of bar tools. I received a great set as a wedding gift many years ago but Pottery Barn and Williams Sonoma always have a nice collection.

Lastly, you need your seasonal decor! A small vase of fall colored flowers, a collection of tiny pumpkins or a bowl of candy corn add a pop of autumn to your display. We styled our collection of white pottery ghosts with tiny flickering tea lights to add a spooky touch. Don't forget your Hen House cocktail napkins and guest towels for an extra splash of seasonal color or as a hostess gift. Cheers!
