Put on your lederhosen, fill your bier steins and get ready to do the chicken dance (you know what I'm talking about if you've been to Helen, Georgia)! To celebrate the world's largest beer festival, we've created a tablescape featuring the traditional Bavarian Oktoberfest colors of blue and white using our latticework ocean blue, ruffled ocean blue and fandango camel linens.
A little history lesson ... the "real" Oktoberfest is an annual festival in Munich, Germany that is held over two weeks, ending on the first Sunday in October. Founded as a wedding celebration, the festival is now celebrated all over the world and is a great excuse (not that we need one!) to throw a fun party! Oktoberfest draws more than six million people each year and about two million gallons of beer are consumed!
Our menu is full of the traditional German foods - pretzels, sausages, and lots of beer!
