That's amoré | Valentine's Day celebration

If you're like us and don’t really care to go out to dinner on Valentine’s Day, make dinner at home extra special with an Italian inspired table and menu.
Now that’s amore! XOXO

How to Style the Table

Inspired by rustic Italian dining, we created a foundation for our table with a classic red and white checked tablecloth. Next, we alternated pink and red quilted placemats at each place setting. For dinnerware, we used simple white china and rose colored Estelle wine glasses. For a final touch of sweetness, we alternated pink and red napkins folded in a heart shape (click for napkin folding guide).

Set the Mood

Our Italian themed playlist playing in the background will make your loved ones feel like they are sipping wine in an Italian piazza.

What to Serve

Appetizers - Keep it simple with Caprese Skewers. Using a toothpick, start by threading a mini mozzarella cheese ball. Next add a fresh basil leaf, folded in half, followed by a cherry tomato. Arrange skewers in a heart shape on a pretty platter.

Salad - Make a colorful salad by tossing spring mix with black olives, cherry tomatoes and cucumbers. Toss with our favorite dressing - Homemade Italian Dressing (recipe below).

Main Course - Nothing says I love you like Homemade Lasagna. This recipe takes a little effort but we promise, your loved ones will appreciate the effort!

Dessert - It's not Valentine's Day without a decadent chocolate dessert. This twist on tiramisu is easy and divine!
